Babar carries bat for 87 too but Sam Currans cutters prove the difference in bowling stakes

Phil Salt's 88 not out propelled England to a series-squaring victory over Pakistan in the second Twenty20 international in Rawalpindi.

The tourists, who lost the series opener in Karachi on Thursday, posted 199 for 5 after being put into bat, with Salt striking eight fours and four sixes off 41 deliveries.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam top-scored for the hosts with 87 not out but Sam Curran's three wickets, including those of Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood, proved decisive as they fell 74 runs short on 125 for 9.

Jacks heads into the third T20 game against Pakistan on Tuesday full of confidence after playing a key role in Saturday's 23-run win at Edgbaston.
